We've chosen to work with Marquis on the rebuilding of our new home: adding a second floor to the bungalow, re-configuring the basement and main floors, and redesigning the layout of the home, including a brand new kitchen. Marquis was so quick to responding to our calls and emails and were able to address and fix the issues promptly. We truly love our new home and we owe it all to hard work, dedication and commitment of Marquis Estates. “We could not be happier with the results !”
My husband and I had decided to have our Master Bathroom renovated. We decided to do a total reno, having EVERYTHING ripped out of the existing bathroom (which was 23 years old and quite dated) and we started from scratch. In the past, my husband has handled most renos we had done, so as you can imagine, I was a bit hesitant to let someone else into my home to do the work. We did not have much prior experience with contractors and did not even know how to go about finding a reputable one that we could trust.
Fortunately, a friend mentioned Marquis Estates to me. We could not be happier with the results! Everyone that we came in contact with from the very first appointment, to the very last visit was extremely polite and professional. They paid attention to detail and the quality of their work was exceptional. They did their best not to disrupt our life while the renos were happening and cleaned up each night after themselves. They assigned a dedicated onsite superintendant who had a key to our home and was onsite whenever there was any work going on in our home. He also regularly checked in with us to keep us updated on progress, any expected delays due to availability of materials, or to just see what our thoughts were on the work thus far. More than anything they were very patient with us throughout the decision making process in choosing materials (which can be VERY STRESSFUL).

“Trades work is high quality and very professional”
We are very pleased to recommend Marquis Estates because they did our basement renovation as discussed, it was done in the on time, and they have experienced and capable trades people working for them.
Several things we liked:
Detailed discussion of what work was to be done. Floor Plan drawings were completed in detail and we had a complete discussion of what would work best for our needs. Marquis recommended design changes and options that helped us get to a final floor plan and kept us to our budget. From there they developed a work project with costs. We were all pretty clear what was to be done and by when. This up front work allowed for us to come up with a better floor plan. No Surprises.
High Quality Trades People: The work was well co-ordinated and we were very pleased with the high quality of the trades, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Drywall, Paint and Sheet Metal. All produced high quality, no nonsense work.
The big benefit of a company like Marquis are their trades people. They have worked for Marquis for several years and are experienced, and very capable. They also support each other to get the work done on time to keep the project moving. Trades work is high quality and very professional.
High Level of Follow up: After the project was done there were a few small matters to be followed up on. Those happened right away. No waiting weeks for someone to show up. It was within 72 hours and it was done! Very pleased with their follow up and overall customer service.
At the end of the project Marquis brought in a cleaning crew that covered the house top to bottom. The cleaners were meticulous and they saved us a ton of work. Our house was never cleaner!
We were very pleased with the project how it was delivered and that it was done within the seven weeks that were agreed upon.
Marquis Estates has been doing renovations for quite some time. They communicate well with their clients, they are well seasoned in construction techniques and code, and they have a very strong team. Their prices are competitive and their value is high.
Without hesitation I would use them again.

Marquis Estates, definitely a company I would HIGHLY recommend for any of your renovation you might be considering. Matt, Scott, Chris and the entire team were very open and honest, they spent a lot of time listening and asking questions, which was really impressive and refreshing compared to others we met with before deciding to go with Marquis.
From start to finish they were:
-there with us every step of the way, from understanding what we wanted, what our budget was, and walked through with us how we would arrive at the end goal!
- Professional and approachable project managers and tradesmen from demo to install, every step of the way!
- QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY Workmanship!!!! You could tell that each and every tradesperson was experienced and knowledgeable in their skill. They took pride in their work and were never afraid to walk you through their progress making sure that it was in sync with what we expected and wanted.
- They came in on budget, on the timeline and we did not have to sacrifice anything off of our want list. I think it goes back to the first 2-3 meetings where we sat down/walked around and talked through our expectations. Again they listened and asked key questions of us, informing and confirming along the way how they would be able to deliver on our needs/wants as we physically walked through our home and drawings together.
- I attached one picture only because of the story behind it, the mantel is a solid hardwood that the operations manager drove hours away to go pick out and up for us. He text me pictures of different samples until I picked this one. Then their master carpenter took it home and gave it a "rough finished look". The picture shows it pre-staining, that's because with 2 weeks still left on the project completion and it being Christmas Eve they brought in a crew of cleaners that had the house inhabitable so that my entire family could wake up together on Christmas morning in our own home.
I cannot say enough about this group, they transformed 4 walls into a warm and inviting home that has our family VERY Comfortable and Satisfied. Their prices are very competitive and the finished product is showroom quality.

“Their attention to detail was incredible”
Back in 2018, I purchase my first home (condo) that required a full renovation before I could move in. The work needed to be done within five short weeks included the entire kitchen, two full washrooms, replacing the entire plumbing to meet with code, electrical, and new floors; an impossible task for most contractors, but not for Marquis Estates Ltd., that were referred to me by a friend. As a first time buyer, with no experience in renovations and required materials, the project manager, the trades, and the designing team from Marquis Estates Ltd. were instrumental in assisting me and providing guidance with designing concepts and material required to create the space I envisioned for my first home. Their attention to detail, ongoing project updates, and coordination with the condo management team was incredible and resulted in a very positive experience. The materials used were of good quality and the skill of the trades exceptional. The project was completed within the 5 weeks and the place was left clean and move in ready.
